Took a bus from Manila to Daet
Rode a boat to and from Calaguas
Road trip to Naga.
I think we spent a lot of time on the road but it gave us a lot of time, too, to bond with each other.
Calaguas tour package (boat transfers, food, tent) - P2,000 per person
The tents are just near the beach, so imagine how it feels like waking up in the morning.
The food is surprisingly good and enough to satisfy your hunger. It’s a buffet style, not a lot but there’s veggies, meat, fish, steamed rice, and fruits. Plus, they serve beer and Tanduay Ice at night.
What I’ve been hearing about Calaguas is true that the beach is so clean and breathtaking. A perfect place to relax and getaway from the urban life.
Next stop was Bagasbas beach. It’s one of the surfing capitals in the Philippines, but too bad we weren’t able to surf because we had to catch a shuttle going to Naga.
This is also part of the package. You’ll be given rooms in a resort but you also have to share it with the others. It just serves as a lodging area so that you can leave your baggage, rest, or take a shower after surfing.
But you have to pay for the surf board rental and the surfing lesson which is P400 per hour.
Had dinner at Triboo. It’s a nice place actually, there are 2-floor dining areas and you get choose where to eat. They serve yummy laing and Bicol express!
We had to stay overnight at my Uncle and Auntie’s place near Triboo since it’s already late. We decided to go to CWC the next day.
Last stop was CWC. We were surprised as how the line was long for the wakeboard ride, we had to wait for 4 hours! Since my two friends have booked an earlier flight to Manila, we weren’t able to line up for the ride. We just had buffet and looked around the place.
P350 for the buffet
We ordered Bicolano pizza because it’s a combination of Bicol express and laing, topped with a lot of cheese. Yum!
